Healthier Schools

We've worked with local schools over the past decade to help them successfully adopt Integrated Pest Management Programs and Policies (IPM) as well as Healthier Cleaning Methods. Contact your local school to see which pesticides or cleaning supplies they are using, and ask for support in changing them. Contact us if you would like assistance on how to successfully work with schools to make improvements.

Sample School IPM policy

The Moraga School District has been a leader in Contra Costa County in adopting IPM and creating a healthier school environment. Click on the file below to see how your school can create an IPM policy with the most important part being a List of Approved, Limited, and Banned Pesticide Categories that will be a practical guide for staff and contractors alike and require piloting least toxic alternatives.
