PfSE recommends that you ask the list of questions suggested by beyond pesticides. Sometimes companies say what you want to hear, so you have to be careful not to give leads that you are looking for IPM. Just ask what they normally do. If they say they'll use pesticides, then ask if they provide an IPM alternative. If they claim to do so, have them give you in writing before they begin, exactly what they'll be doing and where.

Parents for a Safer Environment is in the process of endorsing sustainable, green, humane, fair, and tried by members businesses that follow our principle of being effective, cost-competitive, least toxic and safer for the public, environment, and wildlife. Once our members are ready to endorse the product or service, we then will be asking the businesses if they would sponsor our organization. All businesses or products that are endorsed must pass the highest level of screening criteria that will be listed under each category.
